Tilta recently introduced the Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System, a comprehensive evolution of the original Nucleus-M. This new system provides filmmakers and cinematographers with precise and flexible control of camera lenses, taking wireless lens control to a new level.
Main features of the Nucleus-M II
Support for up to four motors: The system allows simultaneous control of focus, iris, zoom, and ND filters, providing complete control over manual cinema lenses.
Improved hand controller: The FIZ hand controller has been redesigned and now uses NP-F550 batteries instead of the previously used 18650s. It offers wireless adjustment of ISO, white balance, shutter speed, and more on compatible cameras. It also stores and recalls up to 128 lens data sets, allowing for quick adjustments.
Optimized Motors: The new motors feature an improved PID 2.0 algorithm, enabling a fast response time of 0.02 seconds. They offer smooth focus control without lag and are equipped with replaceable gears for easy maintenance.
Compatibility and modularity: The Nucleus-M II is fully compatible with existing Nucleus systems, allowing for gradual upgrades for users who don't want to upgrade the entire system immediately. It also supports the DJI RS protocol for integration with DJI motors and Ronin stabilizers.
