Matthews Sandbags come in a variety of shapes and weights. They are used to secure the base of lighting stands and stage walls. Many have handles to hang them from hooks or straps. Some have two wings to allow them to be hung over the legs of lighting stands.
Most are made of Cordura nylon, some are vinyl covered and waterproof.
Some models of sandbags are supplied empty for practical and economical reasons. They can be filled with sand or a weight you provide and emptied for storage or transport.
Fully sewn except for a 1" seam that is left open for stuffing and then sewn closed.
Requires a powerful machine to sew the sandbag properly
