Gutek's Tortoise series consists of robust, durable, and lightweight hard-shell cases. Designed for filmmakers, photographers, creative professionals, and explorers, the T-300 protects valuable equipment wherever the next adventure takes you. Whether in the desert, at sea, in the jungle, or simply on the road, the T-300 offers maximum protection.
Gutek's DNA is rooted in Nanlite's many years of experience. Inspired by the natural strength of a turtle's shell, the T-300 was developed. The structural elements are developed in-house and rigorously tested at every stage to ensure professional protection.
The IP67 rating provides protection against dust and water, making it resistant to rain, snow, sandstorms, and much more. The housing is extremely pressure- and shock-resistant, remaining intact even under severe external influences. It is made of high-quality, modified polypropylene with a V-2 flame retardant rating.
Withstands extreme cold and heat and protects equipment from -50°C to +80°C.
Two press-pull closures ensure a secure closure and prevent accidental opening. Padlocks can be attached to the stainless steel openings. The case features a watertight vent valve that automatically regulates the air pressure inside.
The empty weight is 5.16 kg.
The extendable handle and sturdy wheels allow for versatile use and convenient transport. The Tortoise series features a stackable design, allowing multiple cases to be stacked securely for easy storage and transport.
Despite its low weight, the T-300 has a very high loading capacity and a large internal volume.
The Gutek T-300 comes complete with padded dividers. The dividers can be arranged and customized as desired. The removable lid and base foams provide good padding around the equipment and improve protection.
A motion sensor LED light is available as an option and can be attached to the inside of the lid. This automatically illuminates the case when opened. A Protector Case Lid Organizer and a Case Divider Kit are also available. The included name tag allows users to add their contact information for easy identification.
