The Hurricane Pro Rain Deflector Matte Box from MOVMAX is a combination matte box and rain deflector for your camera when shooting in inclement weather. This combination matte box and rain deflector protects your lens with a standard matte box, oil- and water-resistant glass, a top vane, and a fan that efficiently removes water and mist from the glass. A flight case is included for storage and transport of the kit.
The Hurricane Pro features a standard matte box that clamps to your lens using one of the included 95mm, 110mm, or 114mm lens adapters. It can also be attached to a pole system using the included 15mm LWS/19mm studio pole clamp. The carbon fiber top vane can be tilted up and down to protect your lens from sunlight. Two filter holders are included, which can accommodate 4 x 4" or 4 x 5.65" filters.
The waterproof, oil-resistant glass is inserted into the matte box to protect the lens. The built-in fan on top of the matte box provides anti-fog and anti-humidity control. The fan has three settings: 50%, 100%, and off. Power is supplied via a separately available D-Tap power source with the included 2-pin D-Tap power cable.
The included wireless remote control can control the fan speed from a distance of up to 50 feet. It features an extendable antenna and a protective case for attaching it to your rig. A spare remote control is also included in the kit.
