This is the Advanced Kit for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro/G2.
It offers several 1/4" and 3/8" threads for attaching accessories, as well as cold shoe connectors, a NATO rail for side handles type IV and VI and rod attachment ports for Tilta's single rod holders. The cage is also equipped with ARRI compatible rosettes, which were specially developed for Tilta's Adjustable Top Handle Plus.
The right side module can be removed, providing more flexibility in situations where lighter designs are required, such as when using a gimbal.
The base plate offers several 1/4"-20 threads for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA receiver of the RS2 mounting plate. When using the half cage, the base plate can be extended to carry the Black Magic Design Battery Grip for 6K/G2 Pro.
A 15mm rod mount can be installed to attach 15mm rods in front of the camera body when the Battery Grip is used in a half cage setup. When the Battery Grip is not in use, the included quick release plate can be used to connect the cage to the included 15mm LWS Baseplate Type VI.
The 15mm LWS base plate extends the system with a 15mm rod mount and enables the mounting of rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems. The bottom of this base plate can be connected to the Tilta standard dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The Advanced Power Handle is attached to the left side of the cage via a NATO rail connection. This handle features a 12V Micro DC and an 8V USB-C port for powering your camera or other accessories such as the Nucleus Nano System from Tilta. The handle is also able to control Run/Stop on the BMPCC 6K Pro/G2 via an included Run/Stop cable.
The included Quick Release Top Handle can be attached to the top of the cage via a cold shoe connection and additionally secured with a 1/4"-20 screw. This provides an extremely secure connection to comfortably handle and operate your camera when shooting from low angles. The Top Handle has additional 1/4"-20 threads, cold shoe connections and a horizontal 15mm rod mount for attaching external monitors or EVFs.
The SSD drive mount for the Samsung T5 is attached directly to the cage with a 1/4"-20 screw and a fixing pin. This allows you to record footage on a separate SSD. The included USB-C cable can then be screwed into the SSD holder and the side panel of the cage. This creates an extremely secure connection between your camera and the drive.
The 90 degree HDMI adapter is attached to the cage near the camera's HDMI port and provides a secure connection that limits wear and tear on the port itself.
