This 15mm rod holder can be installed to hold 15mm rods when the Battery Grip is used in the Half Cage setup via the extended base plate.
This allows you to mount accessories with rods in front of the camera body, such as matte boxes, follow focus systems, lens mounts, etc.
This rod holder attaches to the Half Cage Extension Bracket with a 1/4″-20 screw and locating pins, providing a secure connection while preventing unwanted rotation.
