This Pro Kit provides protection for the Sony a7 IV, a1, a7S III, a7R IV, a7 III, a7R III, a9, a9 II and includes many relevant accessories that greatly enhance the functionality of the camera.
The full cage has several 3/8″-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with locking pins, cold shoe connectors and a NATO rail for Tilta Type IV and VI side handles. The cage also has an ARRI compatible rosette connector and pole mounting connectors for Tilta's optional single pole mounts.
The top of the cage is specially designed for the Tilta Compact NATO Top Handle to allow for more flexible operation and handling. The Top Handle includes a cold shoe connector that can be used to attach an external monitor.
The base plate has 1/4″-20 threads for attaching the camera to various quick release plates and can also be connected to the included 15mm base plate. The Tilta 15mm LWS Base Plate Type IV extends the system with a 15mm rod mount and enables the mounting of rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.
The bottom of the base plate connects natively to Tilta standard dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The included Advanced Power Handle is attached to the left side of the cage via a NATO rail connection. This handle has a 12V Micro DC port (3.5/1.35 mm) and an 8V USB-C port for powering your camera or other accessories such as the Nucleus Nano Wireless Lens Control System from Tilta.
The handle is also able to control Run Stop via a supplied Run Stop cable. The flexible mounting of the handle and the additional wrist strap enable comfortable and flexible operation of your camera system when shooting handheld.
The HDMI clamp attaches to the side of the cage and allows you to securely attach the included HDMI cable to your system. This clamp prevents your HDMI cable from coming loose during recording and protects the connection to your camera body. This can be especially helpful if you are using an external recorder.
