That's why we're sticking with HD until we can guarantee higher resolutions without compromise and at the frame rates actually required for practical use.
While most manufacturers are moving to WIFI, we are sticking with WHDI technology and now, with our unique Multi Brand Connectivity, we are creating the ability to add DC-LINK receivers to an existing WHDI system from other manufacturers that are not from DFS. It works very simply: All receivers in the MKII series allow you to choose between different frequency sets, which enables compatibility with other brands.
Whether you're shooting a Hollywood blockbuster or a major company's financial presentation, sometimes we're dealing with sensitive content that isn't meant for everyone's eyes. For devices that don't require pairing, this has sometimes been a deal breaker. With the MKII series of our DC-LINK systems, we've solved this problem by implementing an encryption mode that can be easily activated and still allows connection to an infinite number of receivers. All receivers react to channel changes by the transmitter and follow automatically.
We call this Master Channel Selection.
