The Mixwand 18 II is perfect for light painting, photography, video and much more.
The Mixwand 18 II uniquely combines three LED light sources in one compact housing, thereby combining several different light characteristics. At the touch of a button you can switch between traditional LEDs (which produce a hard light), SMD LEDs (which produce a soft light), and red, green and blue LEDs (which produce colored light).
The lamp has a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 95, the color temperature range is variable from 3200K to 5600K (BiColor) and the brightness is also continuously dimmable and in RGB mode you can create over 360 colors.
Although the Mixwand 18 is designed for handheld use, it can also be attached directly to a standard tripod head via the 1/4"-20 thread.
A display on the back shows the color temperature, brightness and color tone so you can make precise adjustments. The Mixwand 18 can be powered either by the included power supply (included) or by compatible Sony NP-F batteries (not included).
Applications include creating a variety of background colors, adding interesting hues and highlights to portrait shots, and setting the mood and tone of music videos, short films, or other video productions. Thanks to the versatile 3 light source design and built-in special effects modes, the Mixwand 18 is an amazing light painting tool for everything from automotive photography to light writing.
