Nanlite's FC series is characterized by its aesthetics and excellent performance. The design of the lamp head has been completely redesigned and the control and operation have been simplified. The FC series has an elegant and stylish appearance.
This series is perfectly tailored for content creators, photographers and independent filmmakers and will therefore play an important role in studios and live stream scenarios.
The nominal output of the FC-500B is 520W. The integrated COB chip is provided with a glass protector and ensures high-quality and uniform light output. Two power levels are available. The Maximum Output Mode ensures maximum brightness at the selected color temperature. The Constant Output mode guarantees constant brightness across the entire CCT range.
The FC-500B offers an impressive light output of 65640 lux at 1 m (with reflector) in an ultra-compact housing. The variable color temperature range extends from 2700 K to 6500 K (BiColor). The color rendering is excellent with a CRI of 96, a TLCI of 98, a TM-30 Rf of 95 and a TM-30 Rg of 100, so that different lighting situations can be mastered with ease.
The 12 integrated special effects, where every parameter is adjustable, offer the user a lot of creativity and the additional control options (on-board, 2.4G, Bluetooth, NANLINK app and DMX/RDM) round off the whole thing. Firmware upgrades are possible via the USB port so that you are always up to date in the future.
Power is supplied via the power supply. The power supply is equipped with a safety strap and a quick-release plate for easy mounting on light stands. A quick-release clamp is optionally available.
The further developed and adjustable cooling system has 4 operating modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed and Off. In Smart mode, the noise level drops to 27 dBA. Noise management has also been significantly optimized in Full Speed mode. In noise-sensitive recording environments, such as interview, MV and TVC recordings, there are no longer any problems with background noise.
By using a Bowens mount and an additional umbrella connection, the FC-500B is compatible with a wide range of light modifiers. Of course, also with the Nanlite softbox series. The included transport case has been completely redesigned and has a very nice design.
Various optional accessories are available for the FC-500B. These include various softboxes, Fresnel lenses and much more.
