This battery plate easily installs and locks into the battery compartment of the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K to power the camera. When used with the top plate (not included), this battery plate can be further secured with a thumbscrew.
This allows users to power their camera and accessories via V-mount batteries, which can significantly extend the camera's runtime compared to internal batteries.
The battery plate has the following connectors: 2x 14.8V D-Tap, 1x 14.8V 2 Pin Lemo, 1x USB-C and a DC power input.
The DC input is perfect for hot-swapping batteries or for lightweight builds as it allows the user to power the battery plate from an external power source (power cable not included).
