The Tilta Float System works with the DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro gimbal to create a small, compact camera stabilization system that enables smooth, cinematic camera movements with smaller camera setups.
The counterweight-based arm stabilizes the setup in addition to what the gimbal already does to enable the smoothest, most fluid camera movement possible.
The spring-loaded arm and back support transfers the weight of the rig to the upper body, allowing for longer working hours before the user becomes fatigued. The additional lower back support further distributes the weight and allows for comfortable working for longer periods.
Multiple power options provide more flexibility in powering the gimbal. The system can power the gimbal via V-Mount, TB50 or the battery grip via optional accessories.
The Float is compatible with any gimbal that can be mounted via a 1/4″-20 thread and powered via a 2-pin Lemo.
Important: The Wireless Thumb Controller is only compatible with the RS 2, RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro. The Float has no power outputs other than the 2-pin Lemo, which is intended to power the gimbal. The internal post cable is rated for 14.8V and 3A and can handle a maximum of 6A.
RS 3/RS 3 Pro: The M-Key cannot imitate the function of the gimbal. The M-Key on this device can only change the mode setting.
It is not recommended to use gimbals larger than "handheld". Even if the total weight is less than 10 kg, the system will have problems supporting gimbals larger than the DJI Ronin RS series gimbals.
