This variant of the original Tilta Float Kit is specifically designed to support the Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket for RS 2 and provides more stability and comfort during operation.
This kit includes the support vest, stabilization arm and carrying case from the original kit and features the Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket, RS 2 Remote Control Grip and Manfrotto Adapter. This adapter allows you to mount your Dual Handle System directly to the Tilta Float Stabilization Arm, allowing for a more controlled and comfortable gimbal shooting experience.
This adapter was developed in collaboration with our DJI Ecosystem modification expert, Vaho Mat.
The Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket allows you to power your RS 2 via a V-Mount battery while providing additional stability and multiple mounting points for attaching accessories.
The power mount allows you to mount the RS 2's battery grip for extra battery life on the left side of the mount, while the threads and NATO adapter on the right side allow you to mount the included remote control grip. This grip allows you to control the RS 2's pan and tilt functions, as well as additional settings such as your camera's run stop and photo functions. The grip's focus wheel allows you to wirelessly control either a DJI or Nucleus lens control motor.
The Float's spring-loaded stabilization arm and support vest are designed to distribute weight closer to the body, allowing you to use the rig for longer than traditional gimbal setups. The lower back support provides additional weight distribution.
The adapter uses a standard sized Manfrotto plate that allows you to quickly switch between compatible Manfrotto tripod heads and the Tilta Float Arm. This adapter can also be used directly with camera bodies when the Dual Handle Bracket is not in use, as it offers additional comfort in use and increased stability while creating an organic handheld look.
