The next generation of matte boxes is here; the Tilta Mirage Pro.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Mirage Pro is a clamp-on matte box designed for various lens sizes. It accommodates lenses with an outer diameter of 95 mm, 110 mm, 114 mm, and 136 mm, as well as photo lenses with the following filter thread adapters: 67 mm, 72 mm, 77 mm, and 82 mm. Additional adapters are available as accessories.
Equipped with rod adapters for 15 mm LWS rods, the Mirage Pro can be easily integrated into existing setups and the swing-away adapter allows for easy lens changes.
The Mirage Pro features traditional filter trays compatible with 4×5.6 filters, allowing for easy handling and the desired visual aesthetic.
With the included top flag and the optional bottom and side flags, the Mirage Pro is able to block flares even in the most difficult lighting conditions.
The housing features a unique magnetic clip-on design that allows the front hood to be easily removed to reduce the weight of the matte box while keeping all three filters in place. The reduced weight makes this a valuable option when used with a gimbal or other weight-sensitive support system.
This VND kit includes a 114 mm variable ND filter that reduces light by 1 to 7 f-stops, allowing for easy and precise exposure control. It also includes a rod adapter that supports small wireless motors like the Tilta Nano 2 motor, allowing wireless control of the ND filter.
