This basic kit offers protection for the Sony a7 IV, a1, a7S III, a7R IV, a7 III, a7R III, a9, a9 II and contains many relevant accessories that significantly improve the functionality of the camera.
The full cage has several 3/8″-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with locking pins, cold shoe connectors and a NATO rail for Tilta Type IV and VI side handles. The cage also has an ARRI compatible rosette connector and pole mounting connectors for Tilta's optional single pole mounts.
The top of the cage is specially designed for the Tilta Compact NATO Top Handle to allow for more flexible operation and handling. The Top Handle includes a cold shoe connector that can be used to attach an external monitor.
The base plate has 1/4″-20 threads for attaching the camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the Tilta 15mm LWS base plate Type IV.
The HDMI clamp attaches to the side of the cage and allows you to securely attach the included HDMI cable to your system. This clamp prevents your HDMI cable from coming loose during recording and protects the connection to your camera body. This can be especially helpful if you are using an external recorder.
