The Pro Kit for the Sony ZV-E1 allows you to get the most out of your ZV-E1. It also offers protection for the camera body and contains relevant accessories to enhance the functionality of the Sony ZV-E1 in a video production environment.
This full cage offers many options for mounting various accessories, such as 1/4″-20 and M3 threads with various attachment points, a cold shoe connection, a NATO rail for top handles and attachment points for a single rod holder. Thanks to the numerous contact points between the camera body and the cage, this system ensures a secure and stable connection and limits camera rotation.
The included NATO rail and NATO top handle allow for more flexible shooting and handling, which is especially useful when shooting from low angles. The top handle also expands the mounting options with additional 1/4″-20 threads and a cold shoe connection, which is the perfect option for an external monitor.
The included universal 15mm LWS base plate provides a reliable base for your camera and allows the mounting of rod-mounted accessories such as follow-focus motors or matte boxes.
Featuring an ARCA receiver, the modular design allows users to quickly and effortlessly switch between a DJI Ronin Series gimbal and this baseplate. Combined with the cage's ARCA quick release plate, which can be attached to both the bottom and side of the cage, this baseplate is the perfect option for seamless transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting configurations.
The cooling system for the ZV-E1 included in the Pro Kit enables longer recordings without overheating and attaches seamlessly to the cage via the screws. This system is powered via USB-C and has adjustable fan speeds for variable shooting situations.
This cage is compatible with Sony's ECM-W2BT wireless microphone and integrates seamlessly into your audio setup.
