The Basic Kit for the Canon R6 Mark II is the perfect solution for expanding the video functionality of this camera. This high-quality cage has been specially designed to improve the functionality of your camera while protecting it.
The cage has several mounting points, including an ARRI rosette, a NATO rail, cold shoe connectors and 1/4″-20 threads with locking pins. These are numerous options for attaching accessories.
The Basic Kit includes the NATO Top Handle, which allows for more flexible operation and handling. The Top Handle has several attachment points, including a cold shoe connection to which an external monitor can be attached.
Also included in the kit is the universal Tilta 15mm LWS baseplate, which provides a 15mm rod mount and expands the options for mounting rod-based accessories such as follow focus motors or matte boxes. The modular design features an ARCA receiver, making swapping between a Ronin S-series gimbal and this baseplate quick and easy.
This ARCA adapter can also be removed so you can mount other cages or camera systems directly via two 1/4″-20 screws. This baseplate is compatible with Tilta standard dovetails and can accommodate a variety of quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The USB-C cable clamp included in the cage helps secure the cables so they don't come loose during use.
