The Sony a6700 Lightweight Kit helps you get the most out of your a6700. It provides protection for the camera body and includes accessories that extend the functionality of the Sony a6700 in a video production environment.
This lightweight kit offers numerous options for mounting additional accessories, such as cold shoe connectors, NATO rail and 1/4″-20 threads with attachment points.
The cage also features a removable ARCA-Swiss baseplate that allows for quick changes of tripod heads and gimbals such as the DJI Ronin RS2 & RS3 Pro. This ARCA plate can be attached to the side of the cage to allow for both horizontal and vertical shooting configurations.
The cage features a secure and form-fitting design with two contact points and is compatible with the Sony ECM-W2BT.
The included NATO rail and NATO top handle offer more flexible shooting and handling options, which are especially useful when shooting from low angles. The top handle also improves mounting options with additional 1/4″-20 threads and a cold shoe connector, perfect for an external monitor.
The cooling system is also included in the kit and allows for longer recordings without overheating. It is easy to attach with thumbscrews, is powered via USB-C and has adjustable fan speeds.
