The Half Camera Cage for the Sony a7C II / a7C R lets you get the most out of your a7C II / a7C R. It provides protection for the camera body and includes accessories that extend the functionality of the Sony a7C II / a7C R in a video production or photo environment.
This half camera cage offers numerous options for mounting additional accessories, such as cold shoe connectors, NATO rail and 1/4″-20 thread with attachment points.
The cage features an integrated ARCA-Swiss base plate that allows for quick switching between compatible tripods and gimbals such as the DJI Ronin RS3 Pro. Please note that this cage uses the DJI standard for ARCA and is not compatible with all receivers. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
The cage features a positive locking design that utilizes multiple contact points via safety screws on the side, greatly reducing the risk of the cage rotating.
The design also provides easy access to all necessary camera functions, including the cold shoe connector, and is perfect for accommodating accessories such as the Sony ECM-W2BT.
The HDMI cable clamp provides additional security for HDMI cables and the integrated thumbscrews allow cables to be quickly attached and removed without tools.
