The Canon R3 Basic Kit lets you get the most out of your R3. It provides protection for the camera body and includes accessories that extend the functionality of the Sony Canon R3 in a video production or photo environment.
The cage features various mounting points, including 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads with mounting points, as well as a cold shoe connector and thread for an included 15mm tripod mount.
This kit includes the XENO Top Handle, which is attached to the top of the cage with a 1/4"-20 screw and has locking pins for a secure hold. The Top Handle offers additional options for handling and operation, which are particularly useful when shooting from low angles. The top handle expands the mounting options with additional 1/4″-20 threads and an additional cold shoe connection, ideal for an external monitor.
On the bottom of the cage there is a 1/4´´-20 thread for connecting various quick release plates as well as a magnetically attached multi-tool that is perfect for mounting the cage or attaching accessories. The Arca-Swiss base plate allows for quick switching between compatible gimbals such as the RS3 Pro or Arca-based tripods.
Important: This cage uses the DJI standard for ARCA and is not compatible with all receivers. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
The cage attaches to the camera body with a single 1/4´´-20 screw and features two safety clamps on each side to stabilize the camera against the cage and limit rotation.
