This Tilta standard dovetail offers more flexibility and security when attaching your camera to different support systems.
Similar to other dovetails, it can be attached to most support systems such as tripod heads or camera cranes using 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 screws. The Tilta dovetail features a unique rail that allows camera systems with Tilta base plates to slide and lock into various positions. This allows you greater flexibility when balancing your camera system on a tripod head for precise and easy operation.
The safety pin provides additional security, which is especially important when extra security is needed, such as when setting up overhead. Combined with our Dovetail Shoulder Rig, this plate allows you to quickly switch between detached and shoulder-mounted handheld shooting.
The Tilta Standard Dovetail Plate is a lightweight, low profile option that fits perfectly with Tilta Standard Base Plates.
